.... lots of rain: great excuse!
Next weekend is my cousin, Alison's birthday. We popped in to see her last Sunday and she was admiring my bucket bag, so I have made a bag for her birthday
I will be sorry to give this away, but glad that it is going to Alison
the pattern came from artsycraftybabe and was very easy to follow.
I have also managed to crack on with some of the stainedqal2012
in no particular order! |
And..... finally: I have found the perfect border fabric for the my mystery quilt
it looks a bit dark in this pic, but maybe this is better
this really needs to be my next finish!!
Hope you have all had a nice weekend
Oooh great makes. I think I've made that bag - I've made a few of the artsycraftybabe bags now. They're fun and great instructions.
ReplyDeleteThe bag is very nice and the border fabric is great!

Rainy days give us the perfect excuse (as if we ever need one) to hole up in our sewing spaces and quilt to our hearts' desire.
ReplyDeleteThat green fabric is a good match for that quilt.
that is a much better choice for your border xx love the bag (not my colour ... so your cousin can have it lolx)
ReplyDeleteFab bag. I've used the rain today as an excuse to sew too!
ReplyDeleteI'll try to send some of our sunshine your way! But it comes with cooler temps though! Gorgeous bag btw! Jxo
