Anyway, I ran out of thread so can't finish off the quilting at the moment
I had to take a shelf down in the kitchen and was left with 3 holes in the wall, so I will be using this to cover up the mess
I have also been catching up with some hand quilting on my Hipbees quilt
and finally an extra scrappy tripalong block to send to Nicky who is whipping up a quilt for Siblings Together on behalf of us Bee a Brit Stingy people
One more week at work and then it is half term, and I have the whole week off (at the moment)
A choccy Jack, such fun!
ReplyDeleteOK, so I love the idea of a union jack made out of fabric with chocolates on it hanging in the kitchen, especially to cover the hole from a picture. But what I don't get is the flag think that the Brits have and that it is ok to make a flag from fabric with chocolates on it.
ReplyDeleteI love the displacement activity!
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see the Hip Bees quilt all quilted!
ReplyDeleteYou have been busy. Have you heard of polyfiller to fill in holes? It is an alternative to making a quilt!!! Di x
ReplyDeleteThat's my DIY solution round here too xxx
ReplyDeleteThat union flag is almost edible! Jxo
ReplyDeleteHate running out of thread at a crucial moment. But what you have done so far looks really wonderful.
ReplyDeleteWell done Catherine - you made great stuff even if it wasn't what was needed - and thanks for that extra block!
ReplyDeleteGreat projects and great philosophy - If you have lots to do, do something else instead :)
