How time flies

Tonight Jenny has her year 13 leavers ball.  Although she is a year 13, she actually stayed down a year and has retaken her AS levels, so next year will be her final year

 I wrote at the time how hard her decision was, but a year on she knows it was the best one.  However, tonight, when she says goodbye to so many of her year, it may just hurt all over again!
I have dropped her and her friends off this evening: friends that she has known since she was 5 when we first moved here, and friends that she has made along the way. Some of them are not going to uni, some of them are going : some near, some far: it really is the end of an era!

    She is so pretty. I hope she has fun tonight and enjoys the next phase of her life. It's scary at that age but exciting too!
