This weekend I did a little of "how the other half live"
A group of us from work went and had a day out in London, including afternoon tea at Harrods
It really was everything you would expect it to be. The sandwiches and cakes were amazing: one of these between two people! (We all took doggy bags home)
We also went to see Jersey Boys, and the went to Chinatown for supper: I still can't believe we had a huge Chinese after our Harrods tea.
This was all in aid of my friends 50th. You may remember the red granny I started last weekend, well I turned it in to this
Which I will be gifting to her tomorrow.
Now, I could definitely get used to a life like that!
It sounds perfect!ReplyDelete
The other half is very privileged . Do you think they have fun with fabric like we do?ReplyDelete

I'm most envious of your Chinese in Chinatown!!ReplyDelete
Looks like fun. For my Mum's 75th our neighbours took us to London for the day and tea at the Orangery. We didn't realise what we ordered meant everyone got a cake stand each!!! we took a doggy bag home too! Love your cushion too!ReplyDelete

What a super way to celebrate turning 50! Wish I had thought of that when it happened!ReplyDelete
Love that cushion, too!
Lucky you going to tea at Harrods! But what a fab thing to do for a 50th. That does look like an enormous amount for two people though! Your cushion is lovely - she must have been delighted! xCathyReplyDelete
