Another week has rushed by!! Today I have managed to finish my Siblings Together top - boy this has been a lot of work, but I love the pattern and I am definitely going to do one of these for myself soon
I had to stand on the table to take the picture! |
I love your ST quilt! I'll have a think about quilting...
ReplyDeleteIt is a great quilt top and I can only envision straight line quilting but someone with more vision than me might come up with something more inspired.
ReplyDeleteThis is a lovely top! You must make one for yourself. I'd do straight lines but if I could fmq maybe something else :)
ReplyDeleteWow! Your ST quilt top is stunning C! Great block too! Jxo
ReplyDeleteLovely quilt top - spiralling (?) square quilting from the middle?
ReplyDeleteGreat quilt top for ST. As for the quilting....I am not opt he one to give advice as I struggle with quilting unless it is in a straight line. Di x
ReplyDeleteI never advise on quilting as I suck at it but I like Hadley's idea. It's going to be a gorgeous quilt however you quilt it.
ReplyDeleteWhat an amazing quilt. What about spirals on the stars and echo quilting on the plain ? I find the quilting to be the hardest part.
ReplyDeleteLovely block too.

Lovely block for Rachel, but your star quilt is stealing the show today. I love it! I see someone has suggested spiral quilting - if that takes your fancy and you haven't tried it before Very Kerry Berry has a tute on her blog at the minute for it. I like the idea of some kind of radial quilting from the middle or across the diagonals too. I'm sure you'll do a great job whatever you decide.
ReplyDeleteGreat quilt. That will be loved for sure! Always hard to decide on the quilting. Love your block for Rachel too.
ReplyDeleteYour ST top is amazing Catherine.x
ReplyDeleteBeautiful stuff!
ReplyDeleteoh so hard to decide on quilting so I say send it to Hadley lol! looks amazing though. x
